Celebrate Life with HOPE

The HOPE Program (Hematology-Oncology Psychosocial & Education) sponsors Celebrate Life, an event honoring childhood cancer survivors and their families. As the largest event of its type in the Western U.S., Celebrate Life is a wonderful opportunity for cancer survivors and their families to get together with hospital staff and trainees, representatives of community agencies and outside programs, friends and interested individuals. 


On Sunday, June 11, 2006, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles hosted the 15th Annual Celebrate Life with HOPE event at Paramount Pictures Studio. This year, there were more than one thousand families in attendance. Strategic Financial Group was a title sponsor and hosted a booth, staffed by employee volunteers, and featured games and prizes. Event features included a health and wellness fair, family carnival, entertainment, awarding of scholarships, food and prizes. It was both a fun and inspirational day! 

Until childhood cancer is completely eliminated, the HOPE Program is here to help young people and their families manage the challenges, learn and adapt, make the most of their strengths, and ultimately…to Celebrate Life. Strategic Financial Group and the Northwestern Mutual Foundation are committed to the goals and aspirations of the HOPE Program and will continue to provide support in an effort to help children and their families maintain the highest possible quality of life even when facing life-threatening illness.

Strategic Financial Group is proud to say that the Children's Hospital Los Angeles' 15th annual Celebrate Life 2006 was a success. The Financial Representatives hope all who attended feel the same.
